ELEVATE ROOFING Roof Estimator in DENISON, Iowa
Jobpurpose
Generating a fair andaccurate roof proposal is one of the foundations of Elevates success. Itdemonstrates thoughtful design that is good for the client and fair toElevates needs. The Roof Estimator will gather all relevant information aboutthe existing roof in a manner that allows for an accurate redesign and bidproposal to be generated. The roofestimator will also be able to generate roof proposals from specifications andplans.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Demonstrates a competent knowledge of commercial roof assemblies and details.

Typically involvingsingle ply membranes, metal, Built Up and Modified Bitumen

On occasioninvolving shingles or coatings

Shows competencyin understanding other building aspects that affect roofing details
- Gathers all relevant on-site data in an organized fashion

Prepares a roofdrawing capable of determining all data needed for a roofing bid and proposal

Able to makecore tests in any existing roof substrates and properly patch

Understandsstaging needs and accounts for factors affecting set up issues

Records anyinformation from building occupant or building owner
