What You'll Do

We’re looking for an Accountant to join our International Finance team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved with the reporting, analysis, and projects for Principal Asset Management’s global operations. The International Finance team provides oversight and support to the finance teams in the international offices located in the Europe and Asia Pacific regions.

You will also have the opportunity to do the following:

• Work with fellow team members across the globe, who are collectively responsible for a variety of functions, including monthly close, variance analysis, regulatory and management reporting, audits, and a variety of regional and global projects.

• Get exposure to capital analysis, support property/lease forecasting, and assist with US GAAP adjustments for our non-US businesses.

• Help to ensure financial risks are mitigated and collaborate with the finance teams, real estate, human resources, office senior management, and a variety of other key partners from around the world.

• Execute on projects that embrace technology, create process efficiency, and elevate reporting.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience is required.

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience is required.

• CPA or other applicable certifications are preferred.

• Critical thinking, process improvement, strong communication skills, agility, and self-motivation are key.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check may be required.

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$71250 - $95950 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

This role offers in-office and hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), you’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
