Description
Robert Half is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience working with clients in a consulting capacity. The Accounting Consultant will be responsible for providing accounting support and expertise to clients in various industries, including but not limited to financial statement preparation, month-end close processes, and account reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with month-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and account reconciliations
Provide accounting expertise and advice to clients on a range of accounting matters, including revenue recognition, expense recognition, and inventory valuation
Perform regular reviews of client accounting processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions
Work closely with clients to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
Assist with audit and tax preparation processes as needed

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
2+ years of experience in accounting
In-depth knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles and standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and/or SAP, is preferred or at least 2 ERP systems.
