SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to manage business units payables in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain documentation for compliance to policies and procedures.

Accurate scanning, coding and keying invoices.
Ability to manage time to ensure transactions are recorded timely and accurately.
Organizational skills for electronic filing.
Ability to follow and document process and procedures
Ability to work across departments and business units to resolve issues with transactions
Ability to provide accurate data consistently.
Ability to reconcile accounts.
Work with other departments such as, but not limited to Invoicing, Shipping, Vendors, and customer Service.
Assist in improving financial processes.
MINIMUM EDUCATION (including licenses, certifications, designations, etc.):
High School Degree or equivalent with 1-3 years of applicable experience as an Accounting Clerk, preferably in a manufacturing setting
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:
Ability to read, write, handle basic math problems.
Written and oral communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Knowledge of MS Excel, and Word.
Ability to learn new computer applications
Ability to see and read numbers
Problem solving skills
Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures.
Ideal candidate will have a good attendance record, ability to work with minimum supervision, and a high level of accountability for their work.
