• Teach lecture and lab components of the Human Anatomy course in accordance with the established course description and learning outcomes.

• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, demonstrations, and lab exercises.

• Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, lab reports, and participation.

• Foster a hands-on learning environment that encourages critical thinking and application of anatomical concepts.

• Maintain communication with students to provide support and feedback.

• Utilize the college’s learning management system to share resources, post grades, and communicate with students.

• Participate in and seek out quality improvement opportunities.

• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Mercy College of Health Sciences is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Human Anatomy . This course covers basic concepts in human anatomical structures, emphasizing histology, development, and gross anatomy. The accompanying lab will reinforce lecture material through hands-on experience with animal and human specimens. The instructor will help students understand body systems, from the cellular to the organismal level, and guide them in applying anatomical terminology, lab procedures, and a systems-based approach to human body structures.
