The Enterprise Project & Portfolio Services team is seeking a web application engineer for a position with our Database Development team. The EPPS teams support a portfolio of applications that support project, program, portfolio, resource and financial management in the change delivery space. We also support applications for requirements, analysis and design management.

This position:

• Development of simple to moderately complex ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) within a cloud environment.

• Create and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, tables, and views.

• Create and maintain AUTOSYS scheduled jobs for running ETL processes and batch jobs.

• Integrate with other database platforms such as Oracle.

• Attend daily Agile scrum calls to receive and update requirements of new development.

• Will work with a variety of data inputs such as database, flat or delimited files, and API's.

The preferred work locations are Des Moines, IA, Charlotte, NC or Phoenix, AZ. Preference will be given to those candidates that either currently live in or are willing to relocate to one of these locations with no relocation assistance.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of application development and implementation experience

  • 1+ year of Oracle experience

  • 1+ year of MS SQL server experience

  • 1+ year of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • 1+ year of Agile experience

  • 1+ year of XML (Extensible Markup Language) experience

  • 1+ year of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience

  • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills

  • Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities

  • 1+ year of relational database experience

  • 1+ years of experience with MS Azure cloud computing technology

  • 1+ years of ETL, data warehouse and data analytics delivery experience on internal or external cloud platforms

  • Experience working with .txt and .csv files

  • Knowledge and understanding of Autosys

  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
