What You'll Do

We’re looking for an Assistant Director – Accounting – Real Estate to help lead our Private Debt fund reporting area. In this role, you’ll partner with the business on strategic direction and decision making as well as delivering valuable financial reporting, vendor relationship building, and regulatory filings!

• Responsible for development and maintaining of relationships with various partner vendors providing systems solutions, valuation services, leverage, and audit services.

• Assess accounting and tax implication during structuring of investments and fund structures.

• Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to the team, and senior management.

• Provide hands on guidance and management to the portfolio management, finance, and operations teams supporting the private funds including reporting, analysis, recommendations, and presentations.

• Assist in fundraising efforts including diligence sessions with current and potential clients.

• Assist with new client structures and fund formation activities across multiple functions.

• Establish and maintain credit/leverage facilities for structures with leverage. Specific responsibilities include modeling and compliance with leverage facility vendors.

• Coordinate audit, tax, and regulatory matters as required across various fund structures.

• Coordinate providing financials and related/required information on a timely basis to fund administrators, valuation service providers, and other vendors. Ensure outsourced functions are implemented and functioning appropriately.

• Lead the financial reporting activities required to meet all regulatory reporting requirements, including SEC reporting.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience

• 8+ years of relevant experience required

• CPA or other applicable certifications preferred

Skills That Will Help You Stand Out

• Financial Audit experience

• Real Estate background and private fund reporting, including SEC filing, is a strong plus

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$123000 - $150000 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

This role offers in-office and hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), work arrangements. You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
