Principal Assistant Director - Experience Team (CX, UX & DX) in Des Moines, Iowa
As Assistant Director - Experience Teams (CX, UX and DX) you’ll provide strategic leadership in the development of customer and user experiences and digital innovation, as well as translation of the vision into tangible business goals and capabilities for US Insurance Solutions Division.
Other types of things you’ll do:
Manage and lead teams of customer experience professionals and user experience professionals.
Leverage customer experience and user experience disciplines to provide research-based customer point of view and user experience insights to marketing and business partners.
Bring new and innovative ways to hear our customer’s voices, journey map their experiences with Principal and implement new targeted solutions to meet their needs.
Ensure strategies are aligned with business and enterprise high-level initiatives and support our corporate brand.
Build strong business knowledge of all division businesses and collaborate across the enterprise.
Actively promote customer and user insights within the US Insurance division and across the enterprise. Serve as an advocate for division marketing team through projects and opportunities enterprise wide.
Create and provide employees with CX & UX frameworks, standards, training curriculum, and other tools they can use for research, human-centered design, and execution.
Show how CX & UX initiatives provide a strong return on investment, in terms of financial impact (i.e., increased retention, higher sales hit rate) and improved customer experience.
We’re looking for someone with:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
8+ years related experience (CX & UX experience as well as leadership experience.)
DX is preferred, but not required.
Experience with 2 or more of the following roles: VOC, experience design, customer intelligence, user experience or customer research.
Ability to persuade a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and deliver presentations to internal and external.
Knowledge of web analytics (ie: Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, etc.) and/or behavioral analytics (ie: HotJar, SessionCam, MouseFlow, etc.) tools.
Dedicated people leader with a passion for coaching and developing high-performance teams.
Comprehensive understanding of CX discipline, UX discipline, marketing, digital marketing, research and communication principals and the ability to apply them to projects is critical.
Demonstrated ability to create shared vision, inspire collaboration, and drive change with momentum.
Qualifications are listed for the Assistant Director level. We’ll consider talent at the next level, Director, based on skills and experience.
