Responsibilities

You will report directly to the Director for EMR Strategy & Optimization and provide management of an Enterprise Epic implementation for 24 months. The role is responsible for the successful Epic implementation in conjunction with Workday, integrating the PMO, Advisory team and Epic application teams for an on-time, on-budget and on-benefit go live. This position is a leadership role on the EMR Optimization team within Payer Provider and Financial Solutions, and will also assist to further solution advancement and business development opportunities. The role will include guiding junior resources across the firm in achieving the solution’s objectives and goals.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Will lead comprehensive Enterprise design, development and implementation of Epic and related systems, including coordination of client operations, client clinical staff, PMO, Advisory and Epic application teams. • Will be responsible for supporting client(s) in leveraging their use of Epic from both clinical and operational perspectives to meet strategic imperatives. • Leverage deep EMR expertise and knowledge to act as a subject matter expert to clients and further engage and guide junior team members. • Converse with senior client leadership – including healthcare system CIOs, CMIOs, CNOs, Quality VPs and Department VPs • Understand current technology and Epic trends in the Healthcare segment • Create insights from comprehensive data analysis and comfortably use detailed analytics • Create structured client deliverables and make executive presentations • Prepare draft proposals and/or engagement letters – including duration and resource requirements – for providing services in accordance with established standards and confer with their supervisor for input and approval for projects planned. • Establish trust-based relationships and seek business development opportunities. • Prepare and conduct seminars and workshops on Epic topics. Includes preparation of appropriate handout materials. • Work with business development sales and marketing staff and performance improvement consulting services team to determine what services are to be emphasized and how they should be marketed. • Attend appropriate professional meetings and conferences and reads publications to maintain and expand professional knowledge as a EMR Technology expert. • Become involved in appropriate community and professional activities for exposure to clients, potential clients, networking, and other business development opportunities.

Qualifications

Required:

• 10+ years (minimum) of experience in Epic to enhance healthcare clinical, operational and financial outcomes• Prior experience as a lead Project Director over Enterprise Epic implementation from planning through go live• 3+ years delivering programs in a consulting or consulting-like environment; driving complex, multi-faceted, multi-workstream engagements. • 8 + yrs. assessing, designing, developing and/or implementing Epic solutions that deliver business outcomes and have extensively leveraged a deep technical and functional mastery related to Epic • Four- year college degree• Ability to travel routinely 12 + nights per month

The salary range for this role is $140,000- $210,000, and may vary based on experience and location.
