AVP, Provider Sales

Overview of Position

The AVP, Provider Sales is responsible for leading a team of field sales executives to achieve sales and growth goals within the Provider segment in the West. This role will be responsible for $20 million in annual bookings. This leader is responsible for developing and maintaining a sales organization that ensures collaboration and coordination with the Business Units, Generalist teams, Inside Sales teams and Account Management teams.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Drive team direction around targeting the right customers, develop/execute innovative business strategies, align the organization to take advantage of new sales opportunities

  • Collaborate with Generalist and Inside Sales leaders to ensure that teams are working together optimally

  • Recruit, coach and develop an effective team of field sales reps capable of delivering sales and revenue goals

  • Provide timely and accurate reports and updates to inform and support management’s strategic decision-making

    What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and related experience

  • Minimum of 8 years sales experience healthcare technology sales experience, specific experience in revenue cycle, financial payment solutions, Chargemaster, revenue integrity experience is preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years people management experience

  • Consultative, value-based technology sales experience with healthcare or healthcare IT sales experience preferred. Revenue Cycle Management with Sales experience is desirable.

  • Demonstrated sales track record, new sales track record & proven quota performance.

  • Experience prospecting new business opportunities, new market development, and upselling existing clients

  • Experience selling in Corporate environments at the executive/decision-maker level, C-Suite level, VP, Director

  • Experience selling into retail pharmacies, medical devices, physician groups and IDN's is a plus.

    What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? :

  • Working knowledge of healthcare information systems

  • New business sales acumen (hunter vs. farmer)

  • Highly organized and proficient at executing when experiencing multiple competing priorities

  • Willingness to engage in both tactical hands-on work and strategic work as needed to manage and complete priorities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships across the organization and collaborate as necessary to accomplish goals

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams to meet/exceed goals including ability to manage a team, recruit and retain top talent, build consensus, and rally members to achieve results.

  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems

  • You will be required to travel 80%.

  • Current State: We are all working virtual now.

  • Territory: Nationwide

  • This is remote role

  • You must be based within 1 hour of major airport
