Element Materials Technology Business Development Associate in Des Moines, Iowa
Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Business Development Associate primarily serving the Automotive & Industrial markets. In this role, you will be responsible for pursuing & closing sales opportunities within specified accounts in order to meet & exceed their assigned budget. You will also be responsible for prospecting & developing new business opportunities outside of your assigned list. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive mentality, have a passion for sales, be action oriented, customer focused, and drive for growth.
Responsibilities
Ability to interface with clients, qualify their needs & determine what it will take to win
Drive growth with high activity & quality conversations
Achieve sales goals by converting, retaining and penetrating assigned accounts
Manage relationships and utilize technical support to assist in progressing the sales process
Discover new logos and re-engage with dormant accounts
Gather and analyze market and industry intelligence, metrics, and trends
Follow up in a timely manner on quotations
Build and maintain a working knowledge of Element's service offerings
Skills / Qualifications
3+ years of technical and/or sales experience
Business development experience with companies within the automotive and/or industrial market space
Good communication, interpersonal and listening skills
Professional, high standards in personal presentation
