The Digital Risk group works with our Digital Technology Platforms Teams to identify and manage risk. The group works with multiple enterprise risk groups, including regulatory compliance, credit, financial crimes, information security, model, operational and technology risk.

Digital Risk also works closely with Business Line Product Owners, and Enterprise Risk partners to ensure that product development processes are within the risk tolerance of the Bank.

This role requires a well-rounded ability to evaluate systemic controls from business, Technology, Fraud, Compliance perspectives.

The Digital Risk Manager role will play an important role executing strategic risk programs to ensure controls are designed and implemented accurately.

This will be a management role with a team of Risk Professionals overseeing risk on Technology platforms

This individual will support strategic Digital Technology / Platform risk activities including:

  • Drive strategic risk programs working with impacted business lines in a fast-paced environment to ensure that a comprehensive risk approach to business strategies is in place

  • Manage Team of Risk professionals that support the Technology platforms.

  • Engage business and risk organizations in a strategic risk consultant capacity to define and implement risk programs such as

  • Agile Quarterly Planning Process

  • Risk and Control Integration with Business Lines

  • Risk Consultant for Digital Agile Teams

  • Integrate risk activities into the quarterly agile planning processes and collaborate with the first and second lines of defense to ensure early engagement of changes.

  • Work with Consumer Digital Agile teams to ensure that enterprise risk controls are adhered to and verify that business operational procedures, controls, and process flows remain in synch with program documentation as the business changes overtime.

  • Interface with other risk groups within Enterprise Risk Management to ensure appropriate risk oversight of digital platform product development.

  • Interface with Bank Compliance to ensure that solutions meet mandated compliance requirements

  • Lead efforts to maintain documentation that evidences effective review of risk decisions as part of the development life cycle

  • Develop executive level reporting of risk activities associated with the assigned projects.

  • Lead meetings with the executive management, product owners and risk specialists to define and gain agreement on risk solutions as part of the product development lifecycle.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with the product owners, enterprise risk experts, internal audit, and executive stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: compliance, risk and project management

  • Applicable certifications

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Experience with Agile Development product development lifecycle environment and tools

  • Experience in, or knowledge of banking products and services

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in the areas of collaboration, influencing, development of strategic partnerships

  • Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-wide initiatives

  • BS/BA degree in finance/banking is highly preferred

  • Experience in an environment requiring coordination and completion of multiple tasks/initiatives while adhering to aggressive time frames

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $120,870.00 - $142,200.00 - $156,420.00
