Position Description: The Kerr Channel Manager is responsible for maintaining the relationship between select tier distributors nationally and the various internal departments. In this role, the Channel Manager is responsible for the entire Kerr consumable product portfolio with primary responsibility for select tier 2 & 3 dealers with involvement in other authorized dealers.
The position has close collaboration between multiple departments ranging from Director of Channel Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Inventory Management/Supply Chain, Product/Category Management, and Customer Care to ensure proper execution with our channel partners. The Channel Manger serves as the primary contact for the client, which emphasizes the need for both excellent customer skills and a thorough knowledge of all facets of the business. The day to day primary responsibility is to drive revenue and incremental growth by proactively managing relationships.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications(Education & Experience):
4 year college degree with an emphasis in Business/Marketing/Advertising
3+ years working within the dental market with channel partner experience
Teamwork: Ability to work closely with other Kerr internal stakeholders
Organizational Skills: Effective planning and prioritization
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strategic ability to make decisions with consideration to business impact
35% overnight travel
Preferred / Desired Requirements(Nice-to-have skills):
5+ years experience in dental with experience interacting with corporate channel partners
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiar with EBS tools (Kaizens, PSP, Growth room, PSI)
Expert problem solver who is able to leverage circumstances
Experience using marketing activities to drive results
Salary Range : Competitive salary commensurate with experience (Min Range – Max range eg : $120,000-$180,000). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Variable Pay : There is a potential to participate in an annual bonus plan.
