Vontier Channel Marketing Manager in Des Moines, Iowa

We are seeking an innovative channel marketing manager to plan and oversee the implementation of our marketing strategies for the Gilbarco Veeder-Root brand across all available channels. You will be working closely with the Gilbarco Veeder-Root brand and product teams and developing channel-specific marketing strategies, planning marketing campaigns, and managing marketing communications targeted toward the distributor and technician audience group.

You will join a dynamic, technology driven environment and will have the opportunity to shape strategies that grow market share, improve the customer experience and foster growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify Customer Gaps & Drive Actions to Capture Share

  • Conduct extensive research via Voice of Customer with to understand industry pain points

  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitive intelligence & distributor relationships.

  • Work with the brand team to support sales & product teams with content, presentations & data needed to compete in tenders & competitive bids

  • Champion the distributor and training communications including training to build loyalty & grow business.

Implement Programs & Content to Nurture Authorized Service Contractors (ASC) Network

  • Develop promotions/programs to drive loyalty

  • Define & drive implementation of video “how-to” across all product lines

  • Fieldwork as needed to become the voice/face of Veeder-Root to ASC community

Online Training Platform Strategy

  • Partner with GVR resources to develop training programs on the Saba platform

  • Develop strategies to create & drive refresh of training content with product managers, ensuring adherence to brand standards & inclusion of latest information

  • Expand the adoption of certified training programs

  • Champion customer experience for technicians and distributors to foster loyalty and brand affinity.

To ensure success as a channel marketing manager, you should demonstrate extensive knowledge of channel marketing strategies and experience in a related industry. An outstanding channel marketing manager will be someone whose expertise results in optimized marketing strategies and increased profitability.

In addition, the preferred background for this position is as follows:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or in a related field.

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in channel marketing. Total 5-10 years of marketing experience preferred

  • Previous experience in running webinars and training programs

  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration capabilities.

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

  • Advanced ability to drive creativity and innovation.
