Cornerstone onDemand Commissions Analyst in Des Moines, Iowa
The Commission Analyst will report directly to the Associate Director, Sales Operations. The candidate will be a key contributor to many departmental goals and objectives and be involved in multiple projects. The candidate will be responsible for the administration of commissions while demonstrating solid performance in productivity and accuracy/quality. The candidate will evaluate and analyze areas or steps within the commission process for improvement, and/or efficiencies in an effort to increase accuracy and decrease future disputes.
In this role you will…
Provide operational support for the global sales team on systems and processes
Develop accurate reporting and insights on sales performance using data from Salesforce and Anaplan
Partner with our Sales and Operations teams to support them with forecasting, territories, compensation plans, commissions and CRM cleanliness
Support the compensation planning design cycle from design-to-deployment
Provide data analysis and modeling to measure the effectiveness of existing incentives and designs/test the feasibility of new designs
Ensure collaborative and effective communication with sales and cross functional teams including but not limited to Operations, IT, Accounting, and Finance
Help monitor Salesforce data quality and run cleanup projects as necessary to ensure data integrity
Help produce monthly audit of compliance to ensure meeting all controls
Create and run reports for Sales Operations, Sales Executives and Sales Management
Participate in integration activities of SFDC, Anaplan and other systems
Identify gaps in operations and present solutions to standardize processes and support improvements in operational and system gaps
Build strong relationships across functions within the company and maintain an open flow of communication to build deep knowledge of current events in the business.
Help define "interim state" business processes for acquired companies, and help manage the change and adoption of these new processes
Support assigned aspects of global Sales Operations and complete ad hoc Sales Operations projects and analysis as required
You’ve got what it takes if you have…
5+ years of previous experience in sales operations and/or sales enablement, ideally within an enterprise technology business
A thoughtful, systematic approach to systems and processes
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work productively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization on a global scale
Ability to manage across boundaries and communicate effectively with Sales, Legal, HR, Finance and Accounting
Experience with Salesforce and data reporting
Experience with Anaplan
Recognize problems, identify possible causes, and resolve routine problems.
Experience in global business.
Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision.
