We are seeking a Communications Manager to help implement stakeholder outreach, communications, and marketing activities for large-scale systems transformation projects in the Health and Human Services sector. The Communications Manager will work across PCG’s functional project teams and with client staff and stakeholders to implement an effective, results-driven communication effort. This position requires creative thinking as well as a keen technical eye and excellent communications skills. Experience with government agencies and/or human services organizations is preferred but not essential.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communications strategies and stakeholder outreach plans

  • Prepare and deliver stakeholder communications collateral

  • Coordinate project-related correspondence, surveys, and results, and report to management as appropriate

  • Develop materials to guide the communications process for a specific project or initiative

  • Write, review, and edit client-related deliverables such as reports, status updates, etc.

  • Work with other functional teams (i.e. business, training, etc.) to identify communications needs for a target audience

  • Complete additional tasks related to internal and external communication as deemed necessary



  • Strong creative, strategic, and organizational skills

  • Excellent writing and editing skills (creative copy and technical)

  • Ability to work with colleagues and clients in virtual videoconferencing settings, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • Experience with online survey tools

  • Experience with publishing software such as Adobe InDesign (preferred)

  • Experience with Change Management principles and tools, such Prosci® (preferred)


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience, including at least two years working in a communication-specific role

  • Knowledge or experience with health and human services organizations and/or government agencies (preferred)

  • Prosci® Change Management Practitioner certification or equivalent (preferred)
