Using your strong analytical and strategicthinking skills, you will assess market dynamics, provide insights to internalstakeholders and develop and implement annual business activity plans toinfluence demand. You will also developand manage strong customer relationships through direct calls, businessmeetings, workshops, seminars and demonstration tours.Our ideal candidate hasa passion for agriculture and excellent interpersonal skills accompanied byrelevant sales experience, plus post-secondary education in Agriculture,Science or Business. You supplementthese requirements with your strong knowledge of crop protection technology andrequirements for pest control, as well as familiarity with crop productionpractices. You have built a reputation as a leader within your previous rolesand you have a proven track record for persuading others and negotiatingfavorable outcomes for all concerned parties while maintaining exceptionalcustomer relationships and brand integrity.We offer a competitivebase salary and incentive bonus potential, a company vehicle, combined withcomprehensive benefits, challenging and meaningful work, learning and careerdevelopment opportunities and a great team environment.Essential Duties &Responsibilities:Developand maintain strong and trusted relationships with customers in assignedterritoryActas primary liaison for all channel partners and retail accounts withinterritory which includes developing and implementing annual business plans toinfluence end-user demandPartnerwith Seed Care and AgriEdge Specialists to develop territory opportunitiesCreatedemand at the customer level, ensuring that the customer is knowledgeable aboutour products and has further interest in Syngenta solutionsParticipatein trade shows, tours and product launches for crop protection within assignedterritoryManageoperational budget, variable selling expenses, and marketing funds withinCommercial Unit / District guidelinesRelayaccurate forecasting for customers within territoryDelivercampaigns and offers to targeted customers through selected channel partnersActas a steward of the Syngenta portfolio by making recommendations and bymanaging complaints/issues in the field as needed, in partnership with AgronomyRegularlycollect and report market intelligence and relevant value chain insightsQualificationsEducation &Experience:Bachelor'sDegree in Agriculture, Marketing or Science preferredAminimum of 2 years of Retail, B2B or Field Sales experience, including AccountManagement and Sales AdministrationDemonstrated ability to establish meaningfuland impactful relationships with customers and internal colleagues throughexcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of agronomics, general cropping practices, agricultural technology and trends and requirements for pest controlAwareness of new and existing technologiesFirst-hand knowledge of farming is a definite assetAdditional Knowledge,Skills, Traits & Abilities:Strong communication skillsStrong communication, planning, organization and time management skillsStrong negotiating, analytical, problem solving/decision making
