Flexential Customer Marketing Manager in Des Moines, Iowa

Job Description:

An integral role in Flexential’s expanding marketing team, the Customer Marketing Manager position will ensure that the customer voice is a deeply integrated component of our go-to-market strategies, including external and internal content, market insights and sales enablement initiatives.

Reporting to the Vice-President of Solutions Marketing, this advocate of the end-to-end customer experience, will be familiar with the B2B enterprise technology buyers’ journey and work cross-functionality to support the optimization and maintenance of critical customer advocacy programs, with an emphasis on elevating the customer story in all aspects of marketing to strengthen awareness and pipeline generation for both direct and indirect channels.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Manage the Flexential customer logo program which consists or identifying and securing new and existing customers for participation in the overall customer advocacy program.

  • Ensure a high concentration of customer advocates within each of the key strategic solution areas within the Flexential product portfolio working directly with sales, pre-sales, operations and product management resources.

  • Create new and optimize existing customer recruitment content packages that articulate the end-user benefits of participating in Flexential’s customer advocacy program and own the use of customer stories in all marketing content.

  • Work directly with content marketing, field marketing and marketing communications to create customer-story centric content for external print, digital inbound and outbound, video, sales enablement and speaking opportunity use cases.

  • Support the annual Flexential Customer Advisory Council event through customer candidate nominations, event planning and content creation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field of study

  • 5 - 6 years of experience in a customer-oriented role, including high quality external and internal content creation, including program management experience, within the B2B services space - preferably in the IT Services or Enterprise Software markets

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal communication and writing skills

  • Exceptional project management skills, detail orientation, problem solving ability and the will to win

  • The ability to develop and grow relationships with customers, sales and marketing counterparts

  • A demonstrated track record of accomplishment in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, creative, design and marketing automation software experience desired

    Base Pay Range : Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $73,000-$88,000, however, the actual pay range depends each candidate’s experience, location and qualifications.

    Variable Pay : Discretionary annual bonus, based on personal and company performance.
