You MUST be located in Des Moines, Iowa

Your responsibilities in this role:

  • Manage and place incoming telephone calls

  • Contribute accurate, friendly customer service in a timely fashion

  • By being successful in your role, you will facilitate business development and client referral goals by actively cross-selling and referring customers

  • Manage the fielding and sending of important written business correspondence


  • Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach

  • Insurance brokerage experience

  • Solid understanding of Call Center Metrics

  • Experience with Call Center Operations

  • High Volume Call Center experience required

  • Quality experience with customer service

  • Foundational knowledge in Prior Call Center

  • Good understanding of communication

  • Earlier work involving Written Communication

  • Well-founded grasp of Property Casualty Insurance

  • Practical knowledge of Call Center Customer Service

  • Proven knowledge of Fast Paced Call Center

  • General familiarity with Previous Call Center

  • Proficiency in insurance

  • Proven knowledge of Insurance Company

  • Comprehension of Email Correspondence

  • General familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites

  • Commercial Insurance experience required

  • Well-rounded grasp of Prior Call Center

  • Insurance Agency experience preferred

  • Wide ranging experience with Process Documentation

  • Solid understanding of University Degree

  • Hands-on experience with Assist Customers

  • Prior experience with call centers

  • Skills in Detailed Documentation

  • Experience with Resolve Customer Service

  • Strong familiarity with Inbound Call Center

  • Previous experience working with Communication Skills

  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly

  • Proven ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

  • Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

  • Customer service and office administrative skills

  • Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

  • Experience performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries

  • 2+ years' experience with performing in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment preferred

  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
