Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions;* Data Management and Insights*, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company’s financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company’s shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

Data Management and Insights (DMI), which is responsible for the data strategy and capabilities at Wells Fargo, focuses on leveraging data as a strategic asset and is a growing organization. DMI defines how we use information across the company, align our business practices and support our continued focus on great customer experience

DMI is seeking candidates to join the team focused on the eONE strategic initiative. The eONE initiative seeks to build a 'one number' instrument data foundation that is complete, reliable, and aligned to the general ledger. The initiative will also establish the authoritative data source for common data elements between Corporate Finance and Corporate Risk management to support in scope risk and regulatory reporting. eONE will create a federated, coordinated set of applications and databases to support risk and finance, which will allow for agile and accurate risk and regulatory reporting and analytics that complies with BCBS 239, G&O and the Wells Fargo Enterprise Data Governance Policies and Standards.

Hiring for three Data Integrity Managers (Testing Managers) and primary responsibilities will focus one or more of the following three testing specialties:

1) TEST PLANNING MANAGEMENT -- directly responsible for release testing calendar, environment planning, change control and communication, and tollgate monitoring.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with the Test Data Manager, scrum teams, and Technology to lay out and plan the testing calendar for all upcoming releases

  • Own the communication of key calendar milestones and any major changes to the test plan

  • Support Technology’s efforts to allocate environments to particular tests

  • Create the test plan for each eONE release

  • Coordinating all communications related to test phase tollgates and monitor the entrance and exit criteria for each testing phase and ensure that the proper tollgate approvals have been captured

  • Manage eONE Testing Policies and Procedures related to test planning activities

2) TEST DATA MANAGEMENT -- responsible for compiling all feature and user story level test data requirements from across the eONE scrum teams and coordinate the acquisition and loading of the required data into the applicable lower environments used for SDLC testing activities. Additionally, Test Data Management will ensure that data providers adhere to the agreed upon requirements for data quality dimensions, and data masking.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate scrum team test data requirements during release planning

  • Consolidate all feature level testing requirements provided by the Product Owners by release and work with the Grooming Team, Developers, and the Test Planning Manager to create a holistic test data and environment plan for each release

  • Liaison with the data providers and maintain coordinated test calendars

  • Ensure that the Authorized Provisioning Point (APP) data availability is in-sync with eONE Roadmap

  • Identify upstream data changes that may impact eONE testing activities

  • Liaison with Technology eONE and Data Exchange (DEX) teams, as well as eONE Production Operations to ensure that data is acquired and loaded as needed for test cycle execution

  • Maintain policies and procedures related to test data acquisition, test data/lower environment loading, data masking requirements by environment

  • Support ongoing testing activities of scrum teams and respond to emerging test data requirements during test phases

  • Liaison with DEX BAs and SMEs within scrum teams to capture additional test data requirements

3) TEST EXECUTION MANAGEMENT -- serves as the day-to-day subject matter expert and point-of-contact for eONE testing within the scrum teams and partner groups.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage and coordinate QA resources distributed across scrum teams

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for eONE testing approach and provide leadership to offshore testing resources

  • Manage roll-out of Component Testing (CT)

  • Serve as a point-of-contact for CT best practices and work with scrum teams and other testing groups

  • Acts as a lead in the creation, preparation, and execution of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of automated test plans and test scripts applicable across eONE scrums including balance checks and regression tests

  • Consolidate and triage testing defects from all scrum teams

  • Identify testing defect dependencies and related impact, and act as escalation point for lower-environment defects

PREFERRED LOCATIONS: Preferred locations are Charlotte, NC, Minneapolis, MN, Tempe, AZ, Dallas, TX, Des Moines, IA, Salt Lake City, UT and Atlanta GA

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in one or more of the following: business analysis, analytics, or project management

  • 3+ years of data management experience, data analysis experience, or a combination of both

  • 2+ years of management experience

  • 5+ years of HP ALM experience

  • 6+ years of testing or quality assurance experience

  • 5+ years of SQL experience

  • 6+ years of information technology experience

  • 3+ years of banking industry experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of data integrity management practices and procedures

  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and achieve results

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including senior leadership/management

  • Functional knowledge and understanding of financial industry compliance requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: unit, integration, and system testing

  • Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: test planning and executing in systems such as: Test Tool, Quality Center, or ClearQuest

  • Outstanding problem solving skills

  • Solid critical thinking skills

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
