Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers.

We are seeking a Database Analyst 5 on our Technology team.

Key Job Duties Include:

  • Leads planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance & control of server-class databases.

  • Consult and advise senior management and clients on high impact data or database management issues.

  • Handle and lead complex data/database management activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 7 years of progressively responsible experience with database design and administration

  • 7 years of experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, & SSIS & database modeling tools

  • 4 years of experience with coding in .NET, developing/supporting DTS and SSIS packages

  • 4 years of experience with diagnosing and resolving performance issues

  • 4 years of experience with DBA in SQL, SQL Server Analysis Server, Microsoft Office BI

  • 4 years of experience with data warehouse design, implementation

  • 4 years of experience with mining which includes setting up backups and emergency failover and running tools to debug any database-related issues
