Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Description

Partner with structural engineers to design and model products for customers. Create blueprints and bill of materials (BOM) for offsite manufacturing. Work with subcontractors and contractors on installation expectations. Collaborate with the team on project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and model products in collaboration with structural engineers.

• Create detailed blueprints and BOM for offsite manufacturing.

• Coordinate installation expectations with subcontractors and contractors.

• Work closely with the team to meet project deadlines.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software

• Experience with AutoCAD

• Strong design and drafting skills

• Knowledge of Inventor, Solidworks, Creo, and ProE

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 6 months experience with 3D modeling software such as Solidworks, Inventor, or Creo

Work Environment

Small office with 15 employees, looking to add 2-3 more detailers/drafters. Drafters will work closely with engineers and other drafters in a family-like atmosphere. The environment is laid-back with flexibility in work hours as long as tasks are completed. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
