The Role

This role will build platform, reporting and analytic capabilities that improve digital channel performance and UX. Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders including digital sales channels, digital self-service owners, marketing, and business intelligence to measure digital experiences and develop data-powered solutions to 1) inform decisions, 2) trigger customer treatment 3) and optimize results.

The successful candidate will build and lead a team responsible for digital tech stack vision & management, dataset enablement, and reporting. They will feel comfortable working with multiple stakeholders; having a collaborative, yet assertive, approach. They are passionate about the digital platform and have a scrappy, progressive, roll-up-your-sleeves, action-oriented attitude. Their sight is set on transforming the business to run on machine learning and AI-based algorithms to both monitor performance and action decisions in real-time.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the digital tech stack vision for eComm, Digital services and reporting.

  • Hire, lead and develop a data science & analytics team.

  • Evaluate, implement, scale and manage digital optimization and reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Looker, Big Query, Contentsquare).

  • Define and track marketing analytics, site & mobile app performance.

  • Set forecasts for digital experience KPI.

  • Produce automated dashboards with timely, visual reporting of KPI and initiative performance.

  • Monitor feedback, platform performance and user sessions to improve UX and conversion.

  • Build a culture of data-driven decision making thru well instrumented tests.

  • Implement “big data” solutions (AI & ML) integrations to monitor performance, improve insights and deliver programmatic delivery of campaigns and customer treatment.

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis of tests and initiatives.

  • Contribute pro-active analysis, regularly. Suggest action for improvement based on insights.

  • Mange platform and analytics roadmap balancing short-term and long-term deliverables.

  • Identify opportunities and implement automation to reduce non value-add work.

  • Develop and maintain a marketing multi-touch attribution model.

  • Integrate 1 st & 3 rd party data sources.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience with analytic techniques and web analytics.

  • 5+ years managing a team

  • 2+ years of experience integrating ML & AI algorithms into business operations

  • 2+ years professional experience analyzing digital commerce or digital platforms/services.

  • Expert in Microsoft Excel, and Google Analytics, Google Big Query and SQL.

  • Experience with Business Analytics and Data Visualization tools, e.g. Looker, Tableau, Qlik Sense.

  • Passion for working with large amounts of data

  • Exemplary communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate Degree/MBA.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, econometrics, applied math, operations research, behavioral sciences, Business, Finance, Economics, Quantitative Marketing.

  • 10+ years of professional level experience in a related role.

  • Experience implementing Contentsquare or Quantum Metric

  • SalesForce platform experience (Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, CRM, etc..)
