About the Role We are looking for an experienced HRIS leader to help us thoughtfully meet the needs of our rapidly growing global tech company as the Director, HRIS. To be successful in this role you must have the experience, rapport-building skills, and technical acumen to put together and implement a strategic plan for continually evolving our HRIS system to meet the needs of all stakeholders. This role is open to candidates based anywhere in the US. What You'll Do + Develop and maintain the global HR technology strategy/roadmap and drive the implementation of HR technology solutions + Manage project intake and consult with cross-functional stakeholders to establish prioritization aligned with the strategy and roadmap in a rapid-growth environment + Provide leadership, prioritization, and development opportunities for the HRIS team to optimize operational excellence and develop talent + Lead the architecture and design of how Workday and other cross-functional and downstream systems share information across platforms + Ensure Workday setup and configuration is accurate and maintained for the US and international countries where Confluent has employees + Own compliance and operating standards including documentation of requirements, change control governance, testing, and appropriate approvals. What We're Looking For + 10+ years of HRIS experience, including 2+ years of Global HRIS experience and 5+ years managing an HRIS team, including remote employees + Experience with Workday configuration at a minimum for HCM and Workday report writing + Experience with system architecture and design to enable sharing of information across platforms + Strong project management experience leading project-based initiatives against a strategic roadmap partnering with non-technical stakeholders + Ability to coach and mentor direct reports + Ability to meet aggressive deadlines while adapting to changes in scope as needed Come As You Are At Confluent, equality is a core tenet of our culture.
