Cornerstone onDemand Director, Product Management (United States - REMOTE) in Des Moines, Iowa

Cornerstone OnDemand is searching for a Director of Product Management to lead its Recruiting product. In this role, you will define product-market fit, drive strategy and vision of the product, oversee research, launch, and management of existing as well as new product initiatives. You will be a key leader in hiring, mentoring, developing, and supporting a team of dedicated product managers.

You will work internally and externally with field product, sales, prospects, customers and partners to understand market needs and use cases for our products. You and your team will work collaboratively with the rest of the technical team to gather, define, and prioritize product requirements and to deliver industry-leading solutions that help our customers to acquire and retain the best talent.

This role is cross-functional and will be working on our classic Cornerstone OnDemand product line. This role is at the confluence of managing existing product portfolio and applying innovative ideas to help solve our customers’ problems in sourcing and recruiting talent. You will define the go-to-market messages and strategy by helping internal and external stakeholders to understand product positioning, key benefits, and target personas.

In this role you will...

  • Drive the product strategy and roadmap for the Recruiting product area including prioritization of features

using data driven decision making process

  • Lead and manage a product management team including resource management, hiring,

coaching, and performance management

  • Operationalize and synergize a distributed team of product managers and engineers in Santa

Monica, CA, Europe, and India

  • Provide iterative feedback on features as teams make progress towards release

  • Monitor changes in the competitive landscape

  • Define OKRs, KPIs, and other success metrics for your product area in alignment with customer success scores and feature adoption metrics

  • Drive conversations with strategic customers to ensure their success, manage escalations, and bring challenges, solutions, and ideas to product planning discussions

You’ve got what it takes if you...

  • Have 8+ years of experience in Product Management or related technical field

  • Have 4+ years of experience leading a team working on customer-facing applications in Talent Acquisition/Recruiting space

  • Have experience managing and operationalizing remote offices

  • Are a collaborative team player, and thrive on developing your team and helping them achieve

their goals

  • Advocate for the customer’s happiness

  • Have great communication and interpersonal skills to be an influencer without direct

hierarchical authority

  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities using data as a driver of decisions

  • Hold at least a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

Extra dose of awesome if you have...

  • Experience in designing SAAS based Enterprise products

  • Experience with APIs and other technical knowledge

  • Experience in the following areas of the Talent Management Space, Talent Mobility, Succession Planning, Learning & Development, and Performance
