Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

We are excited to add a Director, Product Management to join our Oracle Cerner Government Services Organization. In this job, you will be responsible for understanding our client’s requirements to develop and maintain the client’s enterprise baseline scope in a centralized data repository. You will also be responsible for collaborating with the client and sales team to curate and prioritize a list of capability enhancements and custom development requirements to chart the evolution of the EHR to a future-state product that best meets the client’s needs. You will also serve as an escalation point for significant issues in client experience with product and deliver client-facing education sessions on a frequent basis.
At least 12 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
8 years of product management or related activities
At least 4 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
Experience leading and managing product development professionals
Relevant hiring and/or onboarding experience
Must currently live in a virtually approved city
Ability to travel up to 25%
