We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented team member who is ready to utilize their research and problem solving skills to serve our valued customers. You’ll be challenged to thoroughly learn multiple EFT networks’ rules and regulations, multiple computer systems, and utilize your knowledge to accurately and efficiently investigate cardholder debit card dispute claims for our member financial institutions. Hours are generally between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Don’t miss this opportunity to join SHAZAM and start a new challenging career!
What you’ll do:
Process consumer dispute claims in an efficient, timely manner.
Work assigned tasks, flow to other tasks once priority tasks completed.
Work directly with our clients regarding their cardholder disputes, client questions and other correspondence.
Process required claim documents, maintain dispute case information, perform claim investigations, and make claim resolution recommends.
Utilize Mastercard and VISA chargeback processes to recover funds for clients.
Apply knowledge of Regulation E guidelines to ensure dispute case compliance guidelines are met.
What skill you need:
Experience in retail banking, claims processing, or document processing.
Ability to work for extended periods of time, performing claim processing, and ensure processing accuracy.
Work efficiently within multiple systems, at the same time, which include a dispute claim platform, internal/external applications, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Possess professional communication skills - written, telephone, and internal communication platforms.
Team with other team members and departments to resolve client and consumer claims.
Demonstrate excellent skills.
What makes you stand out:
Prior knowledge of consumer debit card disputes.
Bank/Credit union back office or other retail banking experience with settlement and account adjustments.
Experience processing disputes/chargebacks, representments, and additional chargeback processes with Mastercard and VISA.
Document processing experience for audits, credit cards, or credit report disputes.
