Job Description

KEY OUTCOMES
Sr. Evidence Generation Lead / Team Leader
Set and contribute to a positive working culture and environment that fosters a high level of productivity and efficiency, team collaboration and quality results that result in long-term client relationships
Serve as the Principal Investigator for study projects; this involves but is not limited to leading engagements to ensure client satisfaction and ensure deliverables are sent on time and are of rigorous scientific quality
Responsible for the leadership and development of research staff in the Health Outcomes, Real World Evidence team in the US
Mentor global staff (beyond just direct reports) on research-specific skills including proposal writing, statistical analysis, analytical interpretation, report writing, abstract writing, poster writing, and manuscript writing
Mentor global staff (beyond just direct reports) on consulting skills including client engagement skills, proactive client consulting, engagement-extension consulting, and publication planning consulting
Accountable for engagement deliverables sourced from US clients and potentially other global clients
Develop strong relationships with clients during engagements and maintain relationships post project completion
Drive industry thought leadership through involvement in ISPOR, industry conferences, collaboration with key opinion leaders, and authorship of white papers
Support business development activities to identify opportunities, set appropriate pricing and submit proposals
Support the development of innovative offers and work across functional teams/practices to drive success
Conduct semi-regular training with client consultants and RWE research staff to increase knowledge/skill of health outcomes, patient survey research, research design, etc. for RWE
Researcher
Lead the design and execution of RWE studies, including writing research proposals, questionnaire design, statistical analysis plan (SAP) development, data analysis, report writing, and poster and manuscript development
Serve as project manager including developing and keeping project timelines, ensuring purchase order (PO) is received and submitting invoices in a timely manner
Work closely and collaboratively with other internal departments and functions including Business Development and Operations, to provide research guidance and support for relevant projects
Work closely and potentially oversee external partners
Lead and oversee process improvements with respect to project management, knowledge sharing and quality control
Work closely and collaboratively with other Cerner Enviza geographies and colleagues and various clients across US, Europe and Asia when appropriate
Be willing to travel in support of all of the above responsibilities (25-35%)
CAPABILITIES
Education:
Minimum an MPH, MS, or MA (PhD strongly preferred) - any advanced degree in economics, psychology, outcomes research, public health, or a related discipline
Experiences:
Must have at least 5 years health outcomes/RWE experience in the pharmaceutical industry (either pharmaceutical/biotech company or health outcomes consulting company)
Must have independent research experience and a publication history (peer-reviewed manuscripts strongly preferred)

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)
California Pay Range: from $107,400 to $214,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Colorado Pay Range: from $101,400 to $193,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
New York City Pay Range: from $101,400 to $204,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Washington Pay Range: from $113,400 to $204,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
