Job Description

Location: The successful candidate must live in the greater Boston, Massachusetts area to facilitate visits to customers and partners in New England and Upstate NY. Relocation support is not available.

We are very excited to announce that we are in search of a talented Field Sales Engineer to become an integral member of our Northeast Regional sales team. Responsibilities Include:

  • Cultivate, manage, and take ownership of Intel's relationships with key stakeholders and executives within assigned accounts.

  • Exceed annual billing and design-win quotas, in partnership with the Sales Application Engineer (SAE).

  • Collaborate across various business units, divisions, and groups, incorporating their feedback into sales strategies.

  • Identify and capitalize on new opportunities within assigned accounts.

  • Foster robust relationships with distribution partners, collaborating to secure new business and deliver exceptional customer support.

  • Ensure alignment of goals and sales strategies with Intel's strategic direction and corporate guidelines.

  • Elevate the preference for Intel architectures within assigned accounts and market segments.

  • Communicate sales strategies effectively to field and factory teams to garner necessary support and alignment.

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Intel's business practices, encompassing pricing, forecasting, CRM management, terms and conditions, distribution, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer Engineer, Computer Science, Electrical Engineer) or related field.

  • 2+ years of industry experience in technical sales or marketing roles (e.g., technical account manager, account executive).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the semiconductor industry.

  • Previous exposure to or understanding of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology.

  • Experience collaborating closely with distributors and channel partners.

  • Knowledge of related technologies in data center computing, edge networking, and IoT.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
