Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Des Moines, Iowa

Description

Robert Half is currently seeking a motivated Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our client on a long-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your expertise to a growing organization and impact their day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all general ledger bookkeeping

  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

  • Preparation of journal entries

  • Prepare financial statements and tax reports

  • Manage cash flow, including bank reconciliations and deposit records

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Substantial prior experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper

  • Proficient understanding of the full-cycle accounting process

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Strong ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required.
