About the role:
The Global Equity Compensation Administration Manager manages the equity operations process and tax compliance for the mobile workforce. You will also have oversight of the tax and reporting compliance obligations across equity compensation for domestic and mobile employees outside Japan. Join Takeda as a Senior Manager, Global Equity Compensation Administration where you will be the internal SME for the proper treatment of all equity compensation programs for our mobile workforce ensuring proper and timely execution. You will also be the primary liaison with our external Equity Plan tax consultant and Mobility Tax vendor for both our domestic and mobile workforce for all equity compensation programs. As part of the Total Rewards team, you will report to the Equity Operations Lead.
How you will contribute:
Manage external and internal stakeholders to deliver the annual share award vesting cycle for our mobile employee population including technical position approval, blended withholding rate calculation process and payroll report delivery and execution
Validate all global Payroll reporting activities are delivered and accomplished for both the domestic and mobile workforce
Manage internal stakeholder engagement and relationships to ensure compliant taxation application and accurate reporting of equity compensation programs
Communicate and educate managers and associates on equity compensation plan policies and treatment for our mobile workforce. Build and update communication plans.
Partner with key stakeholders to develop a compliant and timely application, and reporting of all equity and compensation programs for our mobile workforce
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance (CPA not a requirement)
10 years of public accounting or large corporate experience on International Tax issues relating to employee or expatriate compensation
Must have hands-on project and process management skills and process improvement disposition
Experience in multiple Reward areas, in the fields of Global Equity and Compensation for both expats and international transfers
Keep upper management and all stakeholders informed, secure engagement and approvals
