Guardian Life Go-to-Market Strategy Lead in Des Moines, Iowa

As a Go-to-Market Strategy Lead , you are accountable for the creation of go-to-market strategies for existing and emerging market segment opportunities, customer segment value propositions and execution roadmaps. You will deliver impactful go-to-market strategies across each of our customer segments, offerings, and channels that enable the Group business to achieve its strategic goals. In this role, you will partner closely with program portfolio, process transformation, product, marketing and distribution teams in the ongoing execution of large-scale transformative initiatives.

You Are:

  • A strategic leader who drives business growth and change by operating collaboratively in a cross functional and matrixed environment

  • Able to apply and adapt corporate strategies to the needs of business segments and partnerships

  • An insightful strategic thinker that embeds data and analytics everywhere

  • Change driven, with a bias towards action and execution

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience, with relevant group insurance background

  • Bachelor’s degree with a financial focus such as business management, economics, finance etc. Master’s degree preferred

  • Expert knowledge of group benefits product, distribution and operating models

  • An aptitude for identifying and applying emerging trends to drive business growth

  • The ability to accelerate impact and lead change

  • Strong financial and analytical acumen with business experience in a functional area

  • Consistent track record of exceptional performance, having delivered quantifiable impact on company revenue

  • Industry certifications such as HIA, FLMA, and CLU etc. are a plus

You Will:

  • Lead while adapting to changing business priorities and environments

  • Develop and execute go to market strategies focused on driving top line growth

  • Manage and direct multiple growth projects simultaneously, in collaboration and partnership with multiple key partner functions in a matrixed environment

  • Design and implement innovative strategies to extend and enhance the customer experience across various market segments, product solutions and distribution channels

  • Build and apply knowledge of market trends to identify, engage and develop partner solutions to optimize delivery of capability needs required to win in market

Salary Range

$91,380.00 - $169,690.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
