Overview of Job Function:

The Human Resources Director (“The Director”) leads the development of organizational strategies to deliver business results for the Americas Sales organization. The Director leads workforce initiatives to drive business objectives and serves as the subject matter expert and advisor to the leadership of the Americas Sales organization. The Director will also provide Organizational Development by creating, delivering and sustaining training and development programs - with a particular emphasis on leadership skills.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct effective workforce analysis with the leadership of the assigned client group(s).

  • Provides coaching to insure individual and team effectiveness, including at the leadership level.

  • Drive Organizational Manage the process for organizational design reviews.

  • Conduct Talent Management assessments.

  • Create and facilitate organizational development opportunities. This will include, but is not limited to, creating training and development content, facilitating participant classes, and driving OD plans within the organization.

  • Drive and facilitate change management through client groups, including instruction on effective change management skills.

  • Participate in defining commission plans based on strategic objectives.

  • Drive assigned client group(s) to a high performance work culture through coaching, training, and performance management. This will include driving annual compensation cycles and processes.

  • Monitor compliance with HR policies, procedures and programs to ensure adherence.

  • Assist managers in determining hiring needs based on business needs and financial performance.

  • Assist with talent acquisition as required. Assist with immigration and visa cases as required.

    Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive human resources experience

  • Minimum of 3 years providing HR support to a Sales organization

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience driving, leading, creating and managing workforce planning, change management, employee relations, organizational design, talent management and performance management.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key business leaders to develop, implement, and sustain HR programs that enable the achievement of business goals.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to contribute to the business strategy.

  • Excellent interpersonal/influencing skills, including the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong consultative skills.

    Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in a global high tech or software company that is dynamic and fast paced.

  • Experience supporting a technical client group.

  • M&A experience

  • Immigration experience
