Robert Half is partnering with larger Iowa corporation who is number one in their industry, seeking to hire a Senior Internal Audit Manager. To be considered for this Senior Internal Audit Manager position, applicants must have a BA in Accounting + 10 or more years experience in audit both internal and external. Having previous leadership experience is key along with the strong ability to present to senior leaders and board of directors. Additional certifications as CPA or CIA are highly desired. This is a key member of leadership team and will be working with all areas of organization as head of internal audit.

Key responsibilities:

Leading internal audit activities to optimize risk profile, controls and enhance processes

Collaborating with senior management, all departments and presenting to board of directors and audit committee

Leading ERM, consulting on initiatives including: cyber security and data integrity

Be involved in/perform special investigations

Requirements

BA in Accounting, Finance or Business

10+ years in Internal/external audit

Previous leadership experience, management of team

Previous experience in risk based internal auditing, corporate internal audit, strategic planning, cyber security, data protection and special investigations

CPA/CIA highly desirable
