What You Will Do:
The International Benefits and Global Mobility Lead will play a key role in the company’s successful delivery and support of related Guidehouse Programs for our non-US offices. The successful applicant will work directly with the internal functions and external vendors, ensuring that programs/assignments meet compliance requirements and that assignees are well prepared for their move. Through this work the incumbent will have core strength in either international benefits or global mobility and have the opportunity to develop technical skills in the other discipline.
The successful applicant will also gain experience in managing projects and process review as we roll out new processes and procedures. The nature of this role requires someone who has strong interpersonal and planning skills. The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, solution focused approach and be willing to get involved in all aspects of international benefits and global mobility administration. They should have a genuine interest in working in an international role and a willingness and confidence to develop new skills and knowledge.
Primary lead on international benefits communications and renewals
Maintain current market knowledge of benefits and global mobility programs for all related countries
Lead cross functional global mobility team consisting of members from payroll, immigration, shared services, legal and human capital
Serve as the primary point of contact with respect to international relocations, international assignments, and related inpatriate/expatriate matters
Provides support with out-of-country work requests
Work closely with local Human Capital Business Partners and Works Councils
Advise/counsel HCBPs and Partners on developing business case for international transfers
Provide continuing advice and support to both leadership and assignees, maintaining regular contact
Take a lead role in the revising, adding and sunsetting of programs
Managing the company's international benefits and relocation vendors
Carry out pre-assignment briefing and orientation
Develop creative solutions to a variety of diverse and complex problems
Produce cost projections and calculates assignment compensation
Update intranet site/benefits portal with policies and benefits information
Assist local HCBPs with new hire orientation benefit presentations
Assist with wellness initiatives globally including US
Assist with enrollment benefit presentations, webinars, and digital communication
Communicating relocation packages, answering questions and resolving escalated issues
Supporting the Immigration team with employee visa and green card process
Assist with US based projects as needed
Performs additional duties as assigned
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
+1 years' experience in either benefits or global mobility
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Minimum 2+ years of employee benefit administration
Minimum 1+ years of global mobility
Strong Communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills
Proven Problem Solving, Analytical Skills and Project Management
Proven experience working with all levels of the organization
Confidence and curious nature
Proven ability to lead and influence
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word
The annual salary range for this position is $71,700.00-$107,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
