The group includes Home Lending; Auto; Cards, Retail and Merchant Services; Personal Lending; Consumer Lending Control; and Consumer Lending Shared Services.

The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.

Full stack developer responsible to design, code, test, debug and document programs using Java, Spring/SpringBoot framework technologies in Apache/Tomcat environment, Oracle, Angular, HTML5, cloud, middleware, operating systems, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products. Well versed using Agile practices and ceremonies. Participates in the strategy and design for projects associated with their technology domain including, upgrades and deployments. Utilizes advanced technologies and methods to integrate their technology domain with other technology domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneous environments. Develops new documentation and departmental technical procedures. Supports the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience

  • 5+ years of Java experience

  • 5+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata

  • 3 + years of technology release or implementation experience

  • 3 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)

  • 3+ years of UI (User Interface) experience using in one or a combination of the following: Angular, React JS

Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology

  • 3+ years of Spring experience

  • 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services

  • Apache experience

  • SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience

  • Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban

  • Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles

  • Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles and micro services and containers

  • Financial services industry experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of home lending or consumer lending

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • 2+ years of leadership or management experience
