Sedgwick is looking for a Leadership Development guru to join our Colleague Experience team. Our team is centered around Sedgwick’s highest people priorities, creating meaningful, engaging, and fulfilling colleague experiences focused on the wellbeing, connectedness, and growth of our colleagues.
This leadership development role will help shape one of our key priorities: the role of the people leader. The lead growth and experience consultant will focus on our people leader program, colleague life cycle, high-potential programs, leadership development and leadership architecture. This role will work in close partnership with many cross functional teams, including our talent and performance, CRBP and total rewards teams.
PRIMARY PURPOSE : To discover, design, and deliver a best-in-class leadership development experience through the innovative development, delivery, and program management of impactful, scalable learning solutions. This role supports the growth and capability development of Sedgwick’s new and existing people leaders, executives, and high potentials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop a short-term and multi-year leadership development roadmap to build a pipeline of people leaders with the skills, capabilities, and critical experiences necessary for Sedgwick to successfully deliver on both our immediate and long-term business plans.
Imagine, design, implement and facilitate leadership development solutions that create breakthrough experiences that enhance the individual, team, and organizational performance.
Partner with business leadership and leverage data to identify and address experiential needs, skill gaps, and drivers of retention.
Apply learning theories and cognitive science to propose development approaches and delivery models to achieve desired outcomes.
Create sustainable programs and processes by applying disciplines in simplicity and scalability.
Partner with greater Talent Management team to drive internal mobility by leading developmental learning that supports leader readiness and succession planning.
Help advance the mission around diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging through experiences that enhance self-awareness and support inclusive actions.
Serve as a leadership coach and recommend assessments and engagement techniques to drive self-awareness and behavior change.
Create and implement a clear and viable assessment model to measure results and return on investment.
Uncovers leadership development needs at Sedgwick across our businesses, functions, and geographies.
Continuously improves Sedgwick’s learning programs and develops new offerings. Analyzes and evaluates learning & development interventions to ensure alignment with business requirements, transfer of learning into the business, and return on investment. Continually monitors program results to identify/recommend areas for improvement.
Manages projects including project budgets, where appropriate. Develops and manages vendor relationships to ensure they meet cost, quality, time, and service levels.
Evaluates existing learning solutions and develops objectives and business criteria for solutions needing to be developed. Applies a blended learning philosophy to combine training, exposure, and experiences to talent development solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Licenses and certifications related to Learning & Development, Human Resources, Talent Management and Leadership Development preferred.
Experience
6 to 8+ years of Leadership Development experience with knowledge of adult learning principles, blended learning design experience, and experience building a leadership pipeline of ready talent. Experience coaching, developing, and training individuals throughout their career journey.

Ability to develop and execute strategic and tactical learning and leadership initiatives.

Knowledge of learning experience design, curation strategy & execution, digital strategy, operations assessment and analysis, transformation strategy and roadmap development, organization and governance design, and curriculum analysis, design, and rationalization
Ability to think strategically and problem solve focusing on customer success
Ability to collaboratively resolve issues and mitigate risks
Ability to construct creative ideas to inspire customer loyalty and adoption
Ability to show diplomacy and poise under pressure when working through customer issues
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills, and the ability to build relationships with both customers and internal partners
