Learning User Experience and Personalization - Supervising Associate

The opportunity

We’ve been strengthening our design and delivery teams to broaden the scope of learning and the rate in which we produce critical courses and learning experiences to key audiences within and outside of our organization. Our Learning User Experience and Personalization role will be responsible for a portfolio of moderately complex projects and programs, where translating the needs of our learners into an easy and relevant learner experience, by designing and delivering personalized learning solutions – what is needed, when it is needed and how it is delivered.

Your key responsibilities

In this role, you will help create strategy and consult on the design and user experience of innovative, human-centered learning experiences, through collaboration with a broad range of Americas Learning Team members and internal and external partners and vendors. You will evaluate and understand how learners interact with learning solutions – relevance, habits, ease of use, interests, perception of value, etc. and help transform the overall learner experience to become desired not required. You will establish and manage relationships with your clients and team members, bringing content leadership and influence in the field of user experience design, with knowledge and perspective on evolving learning technology trends, business needs, and approaches to produce measurable results for a portfolio of moderate learning projects. Our Learning User Experience and Personalization role may require travel pending business and project needs, so flexible schedules and overtime might be needed to accommodate deadlines.

Skills and attributes for success

You will need a deep understanding of our internal and external client’s diverse needs with the ability to collaborate, problem solve and ultimately find effective answers for unique situations. You will need to prioritize competing priorities while adhering to deadlines and identify points of contention for missed deliverables by creating strategies to assist in mitigating future delays. You will need to be comfortable working independently in a highly virtual teaming and collaborative environment.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • The confidence to own ideas and influence others to gain support and commitment for shared projects

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to establish consensus and explain difficult issues

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and solve complex problems

  • Solid understanding of web technologies, wireframing tools and graphic design

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other technical learning applications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent work experience

  • 5-7 years of progressive work experience

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in a professional service or shared services environment
