Job Description
A global leading wheel and tire assembly manufacturer for the agriculture, construction, forestry, and mining markets, is seeking Electrical Technicians to join our 3rd shifts at Titan Tire Corporation, located in Des Moines, IA. The primary function of this position is to install, alter, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. You will lead and direct the work of 2-5 Electricians. You must be able to perform work independently or under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or the Engineering Manager. This role requires the use of independent judgment and a high degree of confidentiality.
Responsibilities
Logically engineer, design, draw schematics, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/electronic equipment efficiently.
Proficient knowledge of electronic and PLC Technology and programming.
Familiarity with electrical theory, NEC codes, and OSHA standards.
Ability to locate, analyze, and correct power failures, short circuits, and electrical related problems.
Effectively maintain the highest standards of excellence for safety, housekeeping, and quality.
Compliance with all codes and regulations.
Essential Skills
3 years of experience in electrical systems.
Proficient knowledge of electronic and PLC technology and programming.
Ability to locate, analyze, and correct power failures, short circuits, and electrical related problems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred PLC troubleshooting.
Preferred knowledge of electrical theory, NEC codes, and OSHA standards.

Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa. Available shifts are 1st shift (7am-3pm Monday - Friday) and 3rd shift (11pm - 7am Monday - Friday), with flexibility required. During the peak busy season, the production floor may ramp up to 80 hours, with weekend pay available. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, safety glasses, and hearing protection on the production floor. The work environment is a typical tire manufacturing facility with machines from the 40s and some new automated equipment. The facility is not temperature controlled.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
