Job Description Summary
The Manager, Field Marketing is responsible for helping develop and execute the right tools, content, training, process, and best practices in sales enablement to help our Field Sales teams meet their objectives. This position will manage the day-to-day activities to create and leverage the needed sales enablement materials for use by our Field Sales teams in Business Insurance (BI). Working closely with the Sr. Directors and Field Marketing Content Writers, the position is also responsible for helping create scalable marketing materials, accompanied with training, to ensure the materials/programs are understood and used appropriately and effectively with independent agents. The position will also proactively provide the necessary local field marketing support and sales activations of Enterprise/BI integrated marketing campaigns. The position will also provide performance metrics on marketing support assets and tools.
Travelers offers a hybrid work location model that is designed to support flexibility. This role requires travel to Hartford, CT as needed (approximately once per quarter) if the employee is not working on site in Hartford.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Leads the execution of effective sales enablement content and materials
Assists in successfully developing scalable materials and helps trains the Field Sales teams on how to effectively use the materials with agents
Works in partnership with the Field Marketing leadership to help educate the Field Sales team on how to effectively activate our Integrated Marketing campaigns
Monitors the use of sales enablement content and provides recommendations to drive greater effectiveness
Provides our Field Sales team with the necessary marketing support and materials to assist them during the “evaluate” and “purchase” stages of the sales process
Successfully works within our sales enablement technology platform to assist in the execution of sales enablement materials
Partners with our internal Enterprise Integrated Marketing team to execute on Field Marketing strategies to support campaign development and execution
Works collaboratively with our business partners and Field Sales teams to understand their goals and helps develop strategies to best meet business objectives
Works closely with our Sales Enablement content writers on the creation of sales enablement support materials

Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting the management of integrated campaigns.
Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
4-6 years’ experience in sales training, sales enablement or field marketing
Proven track record working with field sales teams in the areas of Field Marketing, Sales Training and/or Sales Enablement
Successfully work in a matrix organization
Thorough knowledge and experience in B2B marketing
Experience in insurance and/or financial services desirable
Job Specific Technical Skills & Competencies
Strong working knowledge about sales enablement platforms, trends and materials to successfully drive positive business results
Highly collaborative work style and ability to demonstrate credibility to other functions through strong communications and project management skills
Works well with our Enterprise teams (content, creative, digital) to produce impactful sales enablement content and support materials
Individual must also have excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
Technically astute when it comes to working with marketing technology and sales enablement platforms.
Strong bias toward action, results-oriented and persistent, with the ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level in a matrixed environment.
Responsible for providing thoughtful and strategic input into the development of sales enablement content.
Accountable for developing effective sales enablement materials and helping drive new processes to maximize efficiency
Effectively communicates with all constituents (bottom up and top down).
Has proven ability to build strong internal team/client relationships, and be a team player
Individual must be highly organized with strong attention to detail
Strong computer skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software
Must demonstrate initiative and have a “can-do, and whatever it takes to get it done” attitude
