Responsibilities
Operating in a Senior Research Analyst role, the successful candidate will manage the data asset product portfolio, with oversight on the team responsible for creating, producing, and maintaining the assets.
The successful candidate will bring expertise in developing, building, and maintaining data assets and managing a team. This is a high visibility role and the candidate will be expected to speak confidently and intelligently about a variety of data products, methodologies, industry trends and challenges. This role will be involved in managing and maintaining client relationships as well as proactively participate in business development discussions. The candidate should demonstrate the flexibility to pivot and respond quickly to a dynamic and evolving company culture and broader energy transition landscape.
What You Will Do :
Data Asset Management(50%)
Provide guidance, coaching, and quality assurance to junior staff
Engage clients and key account leads to identify key data asset needs and requirements
Collect, synthesize, and translate key information from varied sources into cohesive data products related to the decarbonization economy
Create, quality control, and publish high impact finished data assets
Act as lead and provide oversights into the design and implementation of data governance, data architectures, data integration, business intelligence, and data analytics solutions to enable clients to make data-driven business decisions
Develop roadmaps for future data products to be created
Oversee the development of quantitative analyses and market forecasts
Create compelling data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to present insights to clients and internal stakeholders
Client advisory (25%)
Develop custom and consulting solutions leveraging portfolio of data assets
Be the main analyst point of contact for a portfolio of data assets
Shape, price, and deliver custom advisory engagements with clients
Project manage the delivery of research solutions for client advisory engagements
Collaborate with colleagues across the Guidehouse platform expand client opportunities
Growth and Thought Leadership (25%)
Lead and manage the data asset solutions, setting strategic direction, and driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and ensuring the delivery of innovative data solutions
Collaborate with client engagement teams and clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and data requirements
Develop and execute a growth strategy consistent with practice level and firm-wide goals and objectives
Market services and expertise via press interactions, conference presentations, contributed articles to industry publications, and blogs
Work with business development staff to grow client relationships and client base
Support targeted thought leadership campaigns to drive Guidehouse brand eminence

What You Will Need :
A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in data science, information systems, engineering or related higher education qualifications; graduate degree preferred
At least 5+ years of relevant industry experience including relationships with relevant industry players and 2+ years consulting experience
Proven track record of managing a successful product team
Strong experience with project management and budget oversight
Proficient in SQL, R, Python, STATA, SPSS
Acts as a role model for continuous learning and development and challenges others to reflect and learn
Exceptional writing, presentation, and user story interview skills
Solid quantitative analysis skills, with an ability to create market models and forecasts using assumptions gleaned from research
Proven analytical, critical, and creative thinker
Due to client's engagement, US citizenship restrictions apply
Must currently reside in the Unites States
What Would Be Nice To Have :
A Graduate degree in the above fields
7+ years of relevant industry experience
Experience in additional programming languages
Expertise in AGILE methodology
Expertise in JIRA, Asana, Wrike, or similar project management software
Project Management Professional Certification
AgileCertified Product Manager(ACPMA) Certification
The annual salary range for this position is $72,300.00-$144,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
