Ford Motor Company Network Development Specialist in Des Moines, Iowa

Role

The Network Development specialist role is to lead dealer performance discussions regarding Share, Sales, CSI, Facility, and Capacity. The role will also assist with Buy Sells & Consolidations, Minority Appointments, Dealer Onboarding, Model e Certification standards and Model e launch.

Responsibilities

The Network Development Specialist’s goal is to achieve Regional objectives in the following areas:

• Assist in developing PDQs to support buy sells and new dealer appointments

• Provide business rationale to contribute to transaction transmittals

• Expert in business acumen, including interpretation of financial statements, dealer performance reports and retail industry report

• Execute the Market Representation Business Plan that accomplishes the following:

  • Identifies dealers with sufficient capital, capacity, customer satisfaction and character

  • Strengthens dealer profitability

  • Facilitates Ford network development

  • Achieves volume and share growth objectives

• Enhance the Ford brand by achieving objectives in key areas including:

  • Brand exclusivity

  • New facilities / renovations

  • Customer engagement / experience

• Play a supporting role for dealers with their new Ford facilities / renovation projects

  • Liaison between retailer and Fordland, AGI, MFG, architects, contractors, etc.

• Conduct succession and business planning discussions with dealers as required

• Liaison with dealers and General Office on key market representation and business management issues and policies including capitalization, profitability, retailer appointments and relocations

• Manage new dealer launch process for dealers

  • Ensure new dealers are provided training and operational resources

  • Identifies dealers with sufficient capital, capacity, customer satisfaction and character

  • Strengthens dealer profitability

  • Facilitates Ford network development

  • Achieves volume and share growth objectives
