We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in DES MOINES, Iowa, United States. This role is integral to our operations, where you will manage payroll functions, handle tax reporting, and maintain accurate employee records. You will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail and organizational skills will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and process biweekly payroll ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee all aspects of full-cycle payroll operations
• Administer benefits payroll, ensuring all benefits are correctly factored into employee's compensation
• Handle garnishments, ensuring they are accurately applied to the appropriate employee's salary
• Manage payroll tax reporting, ensuring all reports are accurate and submitted on time
• Maintain accurate payroll records, updating as necessary
• Monitor and resolve any payroll discrepancies
• Ensure all payroll activities comply with federal and state laws
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
• Continually review processes and procedures to uphold best practices in payroll administration.

• Knowledge of payroll taxes

• Ability to handle payroll garnishments
• Must have good communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Excellent problem-solving/judgement skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
