Meta Premier Partner Protection Manager, Premier Partner Operations in Des Moines, Iowa

Summary:

The Premier Partner Operations team develops solutions for high-profile partners and creators by designing and implementing scaled systems to address issues impacting their experiences across the suite of Meta products. Within Premier Partner Operations, the Protection team protects partners and ensures safe connections with their followers. We do so by understanding the landscape, identifying and analyzing problems and trends, and executing strategic solutions. Premier Partner Protection’s mission is to provide world-class protection and support to our constituents by leveraging deep insights and automation.We partner closely with several cross-functional teams, including government and policy, product, partnerships, other ops/integrity teams to ensure high quality and safe experiences for our partners. This role leads a team responsible for strategic initiatives including Protection’s relationship with Government and Politics and Public Policy. The team works to anticipate and predict potential threats and abuse in our ecosystem, create policies and tools to fight against these threats, and implement and enforce scaled solutions.A successful candidate is a resilient self-starter who thrives in driving structure in ambiguous spaces, working in fast-paced environments and leveraging strong strategic and critical thinking skills to define solutions to new problem sets. Required Skills:

Premier Partner Protection Manager, Premier Partner Operations Responsibilities:

  1. Provide leadership, guidance and career development to a team of project managers

  2. Lead and enable a high-performing team to deliver on goals by providing superb 1:1 support, and enabling deeper, more scalable solutions

  3. Help shape org strategy and vision, establish team goals and work with direct reports and leaders across the organization on strategies for executing, measuring progress and sharing results

  4. Deliver projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research, and strategy development, working directly with global cross-functional teams to implement next-generation community experiences through process, policy and product improvements

  5. Be able to effectively zoom in and out to address near term business needs as well as setting a long-term strategy for Civic and Strategic Initiatives

  6. Build strategic relationships with global and cross-functional partners to drive improvements to the community support experience

  7. Regularly communicate and interface with leadership and global executives in risk management situations

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of experience working in operations, domains such as online operations, informational systems, compliance, risk management, policy, legal operations or management consulting

  2. 3+ years of people management or leadership experience

  3. Demonstrated experience influencing across functional boundaries and/or globally

  4. Analytical and problem-solving experience

  5. Established track record of effective and polished communication to audience's of all sizes and skill-levels
