Summary:

One of the People team’s key strategic initiatives is to bring more consistency and fairness to the career experience by updating the way we define skills and jobs across Meta, setting a strong foundation for scale as Meta grows. We are looking for a creative, strategic, collaborative, and action-oriented Program Manager to help us with this initiative. This role will lead the change management of this initiative, and serve as an advisor on how the skills are embedded into people’s experience across the employee lifecycle.

Required Skills:

  1. Develop and foster trusting partnerships with a wide array of stakeholders and leaders to drive adoption, change management, and integrations of jobs and skills capabilities across Facebook’s people programs and products.

  2. Execute the change management of Meta's global job architecture and career expectations initiative.

  3. Partner with people teams to embed jobs and skills in programs and products based on use cases of different audiences (e.g., candidates, managers, leaders, recruiters, learning and development partners, HR business partners).

  4. Partner with our People Engineering team and program managers to craft personas, philosophies and narratives (leveraging data) to appropriately influence and support leaders and decision-makers on change efforts related to jobs and skills.

  5. Partner with People Analytics and Engineering teams on developing success criteria, analytics and metrics/KPIs, provide data driven recommendations and insights to partners.

  6. Operate as a business advisor on talent management initiatives by developing strong relationships with leaders and synthesizing data/information, facilitating decision-making, and leveraging systems thinking.

  7. Maintain engagement with cross-functional partners and stakeholders through communication and progress updates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Experience with talent management, specifically competency models and jobs architecture

  2. Experience with project management, program design/management, and change management

  3. Experience generating creative ideas, prototype, and develop a plan to execute

  4. Communication, interpersonal, relationship building, consulting, and teamwork skills

  5. Experience operating in a matrix and constantly changing environment

  6. Experience helping global organizations scale

  7. Experience leading cross-functional teams on multiple projects simultaneously

  8. Understanding about Meta's mission to bring the world closer together and just as about supporting the people working to make this mission a reality

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of work experience in HR, program design, or consulting
