We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to be a part of our talented, inclusive and supportive Energy Utilities team. As a Project Manager at Black & Veatch you will be a leader who casts a positive shadow to team members, providing direction on client interests and concerns, and monitoring key performance indicators to maintain project health and execution certainty.

Manages all aspects of Project Management for engineering services projects in conventional and new energy generation clientele, including risk to cost, schedule, and quality. Responsible for the day-to-day successful execution of contracted engineering services in the areas of performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction. Manages and leads teams of multi-discipline professionals. Coordinates and integrates the activities associated with the proposal, engineering, procurement, permitting, construction, and startup elements of the project team, including the activities of all third party companies contributing to the initiative.

Ideal candidates should be comfortable communicating with all levels of stakeholders from craft through executive levels. Additionally, candidates should understand that decision making under pressure and without complete information is a key attribute for our most successful project managers.

  • Bachelor's degree
