Position Summary (describes the general purpose of the position):
The Project Manager is responsible for working with business stakeholders and the appointed delivery teams to establish and manage project initiatives to ensure that they all deliver the required outcome to meet the organization’s business goals and objectives. This includes managing and coordinating the delivery of work executed by teams, similar to the Scrum Master role in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Define project initiative scope, goals and deliverables and associated project success criteria that support business goals in collaboration with business stakeholders
Collaborate with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams and assigned development teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget and schedules for new project initiatives
Effectively communicate strategic guidance and project expectations to department heads, product managers, product owners, team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Develop new project initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization
Direct and manage end to end project delivery including acting as a scrum master in accordance with the Scaled Agile Framework
Clearly identify stakeholders and keep them updated and engaged on an ongoing basis
Set and continually manage project expectations with department leads, team members, other scrum masters, product managers and other stakeholders
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones, including full-scale project plans, using appropriate tools
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members
Track project milestones and deliverables
Responsible for ensuring that all assets and resources are identified to successfully meet project expectations / requirements
Develop and maintain all project deliverables including project charters, budgets, project plans, risk / issues logs, project dashboards / management reports and change orders etc.
Assure that projects are delivered according to schedule and within budget
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the team
Identify and manage project dependencies
Collaboratively identify and synchronize project interdependencies across multiple teams
Drive continuous improvement of best practices and tools for project execution and management
Qualifications (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities) Core Competencies:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be able to efficiently communicate to senior management both within and outside the company
Ability to work efficiently across all GIN Departments
Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management
Good understanding of agile delivery methodologies
Outstanding leadership, facilitation, and organizational skills
Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks as delegated
Ability to drive multiple teams to deliver under tight timescales with finite resources
Ability to deal with multiple projects and deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
SAFe Scrum Master certification
PMP certification
Ability to develop strong working relationships, both internally and externally
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and accept accountability for results
Strong Computer skills, including MS Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook
Ability to travel domestically and internationally, when necessary
Flexibility to work outside of standard 9am-6pm US time zone hours, when necessary
Education and Experience:
The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position. Preferred level of education and experience necessary to successfully perform the principal responsibilities of this position are:
Knowledge of key global IP companies and their respective strengths and weaknesses
Preference for 3-6 years of high tech operations and/or go-to-market experience preferably with a business focused on providing services to large scale global network customers
Ability to interface with all levels of employees, clients and vendors
Ability to work with deadlines, and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to be flexible, outgoing and positive, and to exercise independent judgment when making decisions
Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for a general office environment. Work requires extensive time using a computer and possibly other office equipment.
