For more information, visit and .Flexible location in Upper Midwest near major airport.RESPONSIBILITIES:Executes a comprehensive Annual Business Plan targeting Strategic Accounts including GPO's, Groups and Key Accounts in the Acute Care/LTC Patient Feeding Channel. Hires, trains and manages brokers within region. Develops trimester sales plan objectives to drive growth to meet/exceed sales plan. Consistently works with broker sale representatives in marketplace, calling on existing or prospective customers to ensure broker representative is knowledgeable of industry nutrition standards, disease states (malnutrition, dysphagia) and the HHL product line. Conducts additional trainings where deficits are found.Provides extensive hands on training (in servicing) to Acute Care/Long Term Care multi-facility environment for employees in kitchen settings to the proper use of products. Trains facility staff on IDDSI testing standards for beverages and foods. Follows all GMP's and HACCP guidelines.Fulfills administrative responsibilities including communication of pricing, programs, quality concerns, and new products. Responsible for all financial administrative management including distributor marketing programs, regional healthcare account contracts, tradeshows, sample budgets, claims, travel expenses.Direct management of operators and distributors.QUALIFICATIONS:Required4+ years' experience in the Foodservice industry including experience in healthcare food products, and people/broker managementHighly driven and self-motivated, with a positive attitude and competitive spiritDemonstrated ability to develop and cultivate relationship and lead cross-functional teamsExcellent multi-tasking, project management, and prioritization skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to read and analyze financials and consumer researchEntrepreneur can-do attitude to find ways to break down growth barriersMotivated by challenges and possessing a robust sense of curiosityAbility to craft vision and strategy and make it come to live with actionable plansStrong analytical, decision making, influence, and communication skillsAbility to work independently (self-motivated) and complete projects within required timeframesProficiency in ExcelMust be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.BENEFITS: Hormel Foods offers an excellent benefits package.
