Our passion and creative drive ensure that we are an innovative force - across the globe at over 70 TRUMPF locations.The Regional Sales Manager is representing the company TRUMPF to customers and responsible for overall sales in the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa and Missouri. The individual will be responsible for generating leads and sales of OEM lasers and laser based systems. The primary responsibilities include prospecting, lead generation and customer qualification supporting the goal of selling lasers and laser based systems. Responsibility includes meeting yearly sales goals, sales planning, direct selling to end users and integrators and networking with sales reps and distributors as required.Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesRepresentation of TRUMPF Laser Division in front of the customers in the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa and Missouri and responsible for overall customer care and ownership before and after the saleResponsible for sales and revenue in the region described in a separate documentSales of all products of TRUMPF Laser Division like e.g. laser sources, optics, systems and marking lasers and additive manufacturing productsCoordinate and make of strategic customer partnershipsInitiate new applications at target accountsMaintain target activity levels required to support the regional sales manager role in your territory, including customer visits, lead follow up, application requests, among others as identified by the organization, and accurately recorded in the CRM application.Define and work on action plans based on country strategyCooperation with external partners and integratorsInitiate marketing activities and participation at relevant conferencesClose cooperation with sales management including regular, daily/weekly reports about important calls, projects, all visits and all closed or lost ordersConsistent and accountable use of TRUMPF standard sales systems like e.g. C4C, E2QProspect and qualify potential new companies and customers for TRUMPF lasers and systems in the assigned territoryProduce and maintain market information relevant to territoryAny additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by managementAdhere to all company guidelinesTravelWillingness to travel is a mustMust maintain Valid Driver's LicenseOccasional overnights as neededPhysical RequirementNormal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office, and ability to conduct normal amount of work on a computerEducation and ExperienceFirm experience in selling technology driven capital equipment.Experience selling additive manufacturing equipment is a plus, but not requiredThe position requires excellent communication skills.Experience and good connections to the main target industries is required.
