Job Description Summary:
The Senior Director of Leadership Development and DEI is a strategic leadership role responsible for leading Leadership development, onboarding programs and driving our diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role will lead collaboration cross-functionally to champion a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and leadership excellence within our organization.
Design and implement leadership development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our leaders at all levels.
Create a framework for leadership competencies and development pathways aligned with our organizational needs.
Provide coaching and mentorship to senior leaders, helping them grow and succeed in their roles.
Measure and assess the impact of leadership development initiatives, continuously refining and adapting programs to meet evolving needs.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive DEI strategy that aligns with our organization's values and goals.
Champion DEI initiatives to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace, driving measurable progress in representation, engagement, and inclusion.
Collaborate with the People team, senior leadership, and department heads to embed DEI principles into all aspects of our business, including recruitment, talent development, and business practices.
Evaluate and report on DEI metrics, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable strategies.
Continuously improve the onboarding process based on feedback and best practices, ensuring a positive experience for new hires.
Growth Mindset and Inclusive Leadership:
Promote a culture of growth mindset and inclusive leadership by providing training, resources, and support to leaders and employees.
Foster an environment where employees are encouraged to embrace challenges, learn from failures, and seek continuous improvement.
Lead initiatives to cultivate inclusive leadership behaviors, emphasizing empathy, diversity, and collaboration.
Develop and oversee an effective onboarding program that ensures new employees are integrated seamlessly into the organization.
Collaborate with departments to create onboarding materials, training modules, and resources that reflect our culture and values.
Manage and mentor a team of dedicated professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of DEI and leadership development initiatives.
Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
12+ years’ leadership experience in Learning & Development
Demonstrated ability to execute and drive results that create measurable impact
In-depth knowledge of DEI best practices, leadership development methodologies, and onboarding strategies
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organization
A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles
The base salary range for this role is $185,023.00 - $231,279.00 /year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
