Job Description Summary:

The Senior Director of Leadership Development and DEI is a strategic leadership role responsible for leading Leadership development, onboarding programs and driving our diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role will lead collaboration cross-functionally to champion a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and leadership excellence within our organization.

Leadership Development:

  • Design and implement leadership development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our leaders at all levels.

  • Create a framework for leadership competencies and development pathways aligned with our organizational needs.

  • Provide coaching and mentorship to senior leaders, helping them grow and succeed in their roles.

  • Measure and assess the impact of leadership development initiatives, continuously refining and adapting programs to meet evolving needs.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive DEI strategy that aligns with our organization's values and goals.

  • Champion DEI initiatives to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace, driving measurable progress in representation, engagement, and inclusion.

  • Collaborate with the People team, senior leadership, and department heads to embed DEI principles into all aspects of our business, including recruitment, talent development, and business practices.

  • Evaluate and report on DEI metrics, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable strategies.

  • Continuously improve the onboarding process based on feedback and best practices, ensuring a positive experience for new hires.

Growth Mindset and Inclusive Leadership:

  • Promote a culture of growth mindset and inclusive leadership by providing training, resources, and support to leaders and employees.

  • Foster an environment where employees are encouraged to embrace challenges, learn from failures, and seek continuous improvement.

  • Lead initiatives to cultivate inclusive leadership behaviors, emphasizing empathy, diversity, and collaboration.

Onboarding:

  • Develop and oversee an effective onboarding program that ensures new employees are integrated seamlessly into the organization.

  • Collaborate with departments to create onboarding materials, training modules, and resources that reflect our culture and values.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor a team of dedicated professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of DEI and leadership development initiatives.

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

  • 12+ years’ leadership experience in Learning & Development

  • Demonstrated ability to execute and drive results that create measurable impact

  • In-depth knowledge of DEI best practices, leadership development methodologies, and onboarding strategies

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

  • Ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organization

  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles

The base salary range for this role is $185,023.00 - $231,279.00 /year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
